Visits Th
project team realized that the site tours are the best ways to strengthen the
community particiation and know-how in wastewater management issues. To
accomplish this, the project team has joined the local stakeholder committee
to several treatment plants and reuse project in Jordan. In addition, they
joined them to similar rural development project in Jordan. These tours
allowed the interaction and sharing the knowledge between the communitis that
have common issues, as well as they helped the community to understand the
issues that are facing the technical sectors in setting-up and operating the
wastewater treatment and reuse systems. The
treatment plant and reuse projects that were visited are:- 1. Tal
AL Mantah Treatment project/ South Shouna 2. Wadi
Mousa treatment Plant and Reuse Project/ Wadi Mousa 3. Wadi
Hassan Treatment Plant/ Irbid 4. Jordan
University of Science and Technology Treatment Plant/ Irbid 5. INWARDAM
Greywater Treatment and Reuse Units in Ain Al Baida and in Al Karak/ Karak
and Tafiela 6. Aqaba
Treatment Plant and Reuse
Project/Aqaba In
addition, the Local stakeholder committee visited the pilot plant sites in
the project area and observe the performance the treatment units. |
