Environmental Research Center




The Royal Scientific Society has been involved in environmental assessment and protection since 1976. RSS established a specialized center for environment research in 1989. His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden inaugurated ERC during an official visit to Jordan on September 19, 1989. ERC provides technical services and consultations and
promotes the adoption of sound and best environmental practices conforming with sustainable development concept.ERC also undertakes applied research and studies to serve the development process of Jordan with attention given to environmental protection.
