The Research & Development Division (R&D) at the Center carry out applied research in hardware/software related projects covering a wide variety of applications, including design and manufacture of:

 

Electronic devices and systems, such as audio amplifiers and liquid-level meters using ultra-sound technology.

Training equipment, including digital logic and microprocessor trainers.

Microprocessor based controllers for energy saving and efficient utilization of renewable sources of energy (solar and wind).

Computerized electronic control systems for monitoring and control of greenhouse environment.

 

The Division also has considerable experience in designing real-time software packages using, amongst others, LabVIEW and Z-80 Assembly and C languages.
