Design and manufacturing a new device to monitor and
analyze galvanic corrosion which was registered as a
patent in Jordan , USA ,EU and Japan.

RSS is undergoing continuous Certification in NDT, and
we have obtained the following certification in
Levels 2 & 3 in accordance with the requirements of
the International Standard ISO 9712:2005, for RSS
staff during the period (January – December, 2006):
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT 2 : 6 Persons) & (UT 3: 4
Persons)
- Radiographic Testing (RT 2 : 7 Persons) & (RT 3: 4
Persons)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT 2 : 7 Persons) & (MT
3: 4 Persons)
- Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT 2 : 7 Persons) & (PT
3: 4 Persons)

RSS has already established a Certification System of
NDT personnel, including all procedures necessary to
demonstrate the qualification of individuals to
carry out tasks in specific NDT method for specific
product or industrial sector, leading to
certification of competence that comply to the
international standard ISO 9712:2005 qualification
and certification of Non- destructive testing
personnel that shall possess a high acceptance in
industry and by public authorities. Enterprise
Support & Conformity Assessment Department (ESCAD)
as a Certification Body approved Mechanical Design &
Technology Center (MDTC) as an NDT Training,
Qualification & Examination Center to use its
facilities in carrying out certification
examinations of NDT such as: practical, general and
specific examinations for the examinees, the MDTC
had been selected since it is specialized, competent
& experienced in the field of NDT.

The Radiation Measurements and Calibration Laboratory
has been accredited internationally by UKAS in March
2003, and nationally by JAS in August 2004 for
radionuclide measurements using Gamma Spectrometry
Test.

The Personal Dosimetry Laboratory has been accredited
nationally by JAS in May 2006 for Measuring the
External Exposure of Radiation Workers & Measuring
the Background Dose-Rate.

Inspection of 500,000 LPG containers at factory site
in Turkey for the benefit of Jordan Refinery Co. by
authorization from JISM to ensure quality and safety
for use by Jordanian citizens.

Inspection of LPG storage tanks for Jordan Refinery
Co. to ensure safety of use to guarantee supplies of
LPG gas for citizens of Jordan.

Inspection of HDPE pipes, steel pipes, ductile iron
pipes through quality control agreement with local
produces for use in water transportation networks
for domestic used in Greater Amman , and all over
Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

MDTC trained and certified 140 person on level 1 that
qualify them for licensing in many processes include
Doctors, Engineers and technicians.

Quality control for production of high density
polyethylene pipes for drinking water transporting
networks with four local producers.

Collaboration agreement between U. S. Civilian
Research & Development Foundation (CRDF) and Royal
Scientific Society (RSS) / MDTC, training and
certification of nine engineers from Iraq on RT, MT,
UT,PT , Non Destructive testing techniques during
the period (20/6 – 23/8/2007).

RSS renew the agreement of (Personal Dosimetry
Service) between Royal Scientific Society (RSS) &
Royal Medical Service (RMS) for a period of five
years. This agreement for measuring the external
exposure of radiation workers

Agreement with Jordan German University for teaching
labs for Mechanical workshops, materials science
lab., Biomaterials science lab.& manufacturing
processes.

Agreement with A 1 (local foundry) to control their
products (Ferrule and saddle) for pipe line networks
according to international standard.

Agreement with the Jordan National industries support
commission. Design and manufacturing of molds to
produce cars and trucks brake shoes.

Enterprise Support & Conformity Assessment Department
(ESCAD) and Mechanical Design & Technology Center
(MDTC) have signed an agreement for Certification of
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) personnel according to
the requirements of the international standard ISO
9712:2005, on December 2007.
