History

Technology Transfer Centre (TTC) was established in 2006 to support RSS` activities and realize its vision, goals and policies especially that related to the economic development in Jordan. TTC is participating in policy making, designing plans and programs for research development, intellectual property (IP), innovation, technology transfer, training and supervising their implementation through coordination and cooperation with all centers and department at RSS.

Through our support and encouragement of research, and development, we are dedicated to turning science into commercial products for society’s use and benefit through protecting, marketing and commercializing IP assets generated by RSS members, the Jordanian community and the region.

Mission and Goals

Mission:
- To promote technology and
knowledge transfer, and socio-economic development.
- To encourage the new inventions,
as well as to obtain and manage RSS' IP (patents,
copyrights, trademarks, etc.)
- To enhance strategic
relationships with public sectors, companies and
private equity investors to convert RSS' vast
research capacity into commercial activity.
- To identify new topics, demand
and clients.
- To share end exchange accumulated
experiences with the industries.

Goals:
- Strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing
cooperation and strategic partnership with business,
industrial, and R&D institutions
- Institutionalizing RSS IP concept and management
at RSS and provide help assistance to RSS employees
in the activities relevant to IP.

reinforcing it at RSS, enhancing Research &

innovation among RSS staff
- Maximizing and utilizing of RSS resources and capabilities which include
training labs, and qualified & certified trainers in several scientific and
technological fields.
- Transferring accumulated experience at RSS to industrial and business
institutions in Jordan and in the region through organizing and conducting
specialized training courses.
